If you’re interested in becoming certified to teach the YEAS Yoga method, we offer 10 hour training courses. Perfect for educators, mainstream yoga teachers, parents of children with differences and other professionals, YEAS teacher training is available anywhere there is a group of willing participants. Vanessa regularly travels across America, and internationally, to train people in her course.
During the course, participants will:
- Deepen their understanding of Autism
- Learn key behavioral characteristics of Autism
- Be introduced to specific asanas tailored to the unique needs and strengths of the child
- Be given an overview of Sensory Integration Disorder
- Learn how to enter into the child’s world through rapport building
- Be introduced to simple materials used to enhance learning
- Be taught how to develop mentally appropriate sequences that enhance learning
